Cherry Limeade Fizz

Happy Independence Day America! 

I hope you all are enjoying our freedom and some relaxing time off today. If you need a last minute drink/dessert to sip in the glow of fireworks this Cherry Limeade Fizz will do just that. 

You will need: 

• Champagne (spumante) 
• Cherry Limeade Sherbet 
• Triple Sec (optional) 
• Cherry (optional)

This is not a very novel idea. In fact, I saw something similar on a cooking show...which inspired the idea. 

Place a scoop of cherry limeade sherbet in a martini glass or any small dish. I LOVE Braum’s ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sherbet. Braum’s might be the best thing about Oklahoma, in my opinion. 

Add a slpash of Triple Sec over the top of the sherbet. Triple Sec is optional. I have made it with and without. 

Pour champagne over the top of the sherbet. I used spumante. Because it is sweet it mixes better with the sherbet. Pour to your own contentment, but do try to leave some sherbet visible to place a cherry on top. 

Voila! This is so easy even anyone 21 and over could do it.
